Bio: I use traditional hand embroidery stitches to try to ‘paint’ the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. My designs are based on well known views usually selected because they mean something to me. My first embroidery of this kind was of Dunnethead which was the view from my window when I lived in Castletown, Caithness and the next was of Catacol, Isle of Arran where my sister and I spent so much time when we were young.
